SmallRig Rosette Magic Arm (7″) with ARRI Locating Screw 4899 is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel. It features 1/4″-20 screws and stretchable pins at one end. At the other end, there is an ARRI Locating screw for securely attaching accessories, particularly those with anti-twist holes.
These include monitors, LED video lights, microphones, mobile phones, iPads, and action cameras. The thumbscrew helps lock accessories and has holes for a hex spanner for further tightening. In addition, the ball heads are 360-degree adjustable and come with a spiral pattern to increase friction, bearing up to 3.5kg / 7.7lbs of load.
At the stainless-steel rosette joint, there is a spring for easier angle adjustment. Moreover, an ergonomically designed anti-off thumb lever with a built-in thrust ball bearing feels smooth and comfortable. It also quickly locks the arm and ball heads in a second.
This rosette arm is CNC machined for more robustness and durability. It is also equipped with pads on both accessory mounts to prevent scratches.
